TI FFWS Part A

This would be the first foundational workshop for all proceeding workshops in future. Every TI-swimmer would be required to attend this workshop before advance skills are taught.

Criteria for Entry
  1. Ability to swim 25 m in freestyle without assistance
  2. Have the desire to swim better
Workshop Outline

The objective of this workshop would be:

  1. Drill base where the freestyle is dismantled into distinct and manageable parts to perfect
  2. Balance well in water and to link your arm strokes to your core body rotation
  3. Coordination of timing and the anchoring strokes

Drill #2 "Sweet Spot" (SS)
Drill #3 Lengthen Your "Vessel" (LVSS)
Drill #4 Fish Drill
Drill #5 Skating (Sk)
Drill #6 UnderSkate (USk)
Drill #7 UnderSwitch (US)
Drill #8 Double UnderSwitch (US2)
Drill #9 Triple UnderSwitch (US3)

Important: In order for maximum learning satisfaction, the coaches strongly encourage the participants to watch and try out Drill #1 - #5 in the TI pre-workshop DVD in advance. This would prime the mind and body to be more receptive to the new concepts and skills taught.
