FTSS™ Module 3
Increase Mastery, Distance and Speed
Objectives
- Develop the ability to choose any SPL and swim effectively.
- Develop the ability to increase your speed without increasing your SPL, while maintaining a sense of relaxation.
- Swim near your "red line" with control and gradually raise your "red line".
- Comfortably maintain your SPL for longer distances.
- Be able to apply everything you do in practice while racing.
- Swimmers should be training for personal break through in races.
Modular Content
- 20% Drills, focused on stroke timing, patient catch, and trapping water.
- 30% Mindful Swimming in drill-swim sets and whole stroke sets.
- 20% Stroke Counting and Gears
- 20% Swim Golf or Descending Series
- 10% Distance Development
- Average swim distances at 2.7 km
Module Duration
10 pool sessions + 2 open water sessions
Each session is 2.0 hrs
Class Size
1 coach: 10 athletes (maximum)

Queenstown Swimming Complex
Module Completion Requirements
- Swim 3 km with freestyle below 1 hr 20 min smoothly
- Swim golf for 50 m at 90 or less
Appropriate Swimmers
- Swimmers who have completed the FTSS™ Module 2
- Swimmers in the Fishlike Tri Team
- Swimmers who would follow specified swim training sets supervised by a Fishlike coach
Module Fee
S$ 500 per athlete
